Who is Master Yap Boh Heong?
Master Yap Boh Heong, son of the late Grandmaster Yap Cheng Hai, is the lineage holder and head of Yan Shou Gong worldwide.
Though he resides in Kuala Lumpur, he is regularly travelling all over Europe and Asia, teaching at martial arts seminars and healing retreats. (The two are, perhaps surprisingly, very much interconnected!) He has nearly fifty years of experience with TCMA (traditional Chinese martial arts), with a particular focus on Five Ancestors, WuMei and Yan Shou Gong.

Below is a short video from The Martial Man YouTube channel, where Master Yap demonstrates one aspect of Yan Shou Gong known as "cutting." While this is advanced stuff, Master Yap's method of teaching makes learning very enjoyable and he assures that YSG can teach us how to develop internal power three times faster than most traditional methods!

Below is a video recorded some years ago that features Master Yap's father, Grandmaster Yap Cheng Hai, discussing details of the San Zhan form (from Five Ancestors). Grandmaster Yap Cheng Hai developed Yan Shou Gong alongside his teacher, Grandmaster Chee Kim Thong (an incredibly skilled martial artist and bone setter from China). While not strictly a Yan Shou Gong form, San Zhan fits very well into our system of Neigong, and continues to be taught by Master Yap to this day.
